We were appointed to design a bespoke internal staircase for a grade II listed building in Marylebone. The property’s listing provided a very specific set of design criteria, most notably that the structure had minimal contact with the adjacent walls.

Our approach reinterpreted these challenges as an opportunity, creating a striking, free standing object, composed of laser cut metal elements, attached to the existing listed fabric with only the discrete connections. The result is a breathtaking centrepiece for the property that respectfully takes this listed
